Poker Night

Another fun filled poker night was had last night. I thought I was doing well by not having to buy back in after the first hour. But then, I saw how pathetic my little stack was becoming. Another girl there (who by the way was a beginner) kept taking all of the money. She went from a measly three little stacks to a whopping 15 or so. It was very impressive. But it also sparked something in the rest of us and I hope we didn't turn on her too much. By the end of the night, however, Yvonne had made a serious comeback (even after spotting me some much needed chips) and walked away with 75 bucks off a 20 dollar buy-in. Very nice. I was stunned that my jack high flush as well as my ace high flush never won it...beat out by two full houses both times. What are the chances? That seemed to be the luck of most of us there. But hey, it was all in good fun.
