Where The Surf Meets The Turf

I am happy to announce that we have finally seen the San Diego County fair at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. Realizing that we have lived in San Diego for four years now and have never been to the fair, we headed up to Del Mar on Saturday for an afternoon of fair fun.

After driving 20 miles to the fairgrounds and attempting to park in "preferred parking", we ended up parking another 20 miles away in "over flow parking". Fantastic.

Of course we had to stop and see the animals. It's just not a fair if you don't come home smelling like pig...

...or sheep...

...but especially cow.

It was a fantastic day. We went on three rides, one on which I seriously thought my stomach was being hurled across the park. But it was a lot of fun. We also saw a hypnotist show which is always hysterical.

AND I finally got some summer sun!
